I just wanted to share this photo of the new Magic Trackpad next to an Apple wireless keyboard. A really nice couple, don’t you think?
Magic Trackpad – unboxing
Ok, here’s the second unboxing gallery of the day and now it’s time for Apple’s new Magic Trackpad. I really like this idea and it will be interesting to try it out and see if it can replace the mouse. I’ll be using at work for a week and find out. Check out the gallery inside.
Apple Battery Charger – unboxing

Mac|Life iPad Edition – free issue
Mac|Life just launched their iPad Edition in the app store and you can get the first issue completely free.
We’re calling this initial free app “Issue Zero” and we’re asking you, loyal readers and curious newcomers alike, to take this app for a spin and tell us what you think. We want your feedback on what you do and don’t like, what works for you and what doesn’t, what’s missing or what could be better. And we hope we’ve given you an array of ways to provide that feedback within the app itself. This is just a taste of what’s to come from the team at MacLife and we hope you’ll be a part of the evolution.
Pinball HD 4 iPhone
I just wanted to do a quick plug for this awesome game since it’s currently on sale. You can get it for $0.99 and then you’ll get three different pinball tables. I have only tried the iPhone 4 version but it’s a really good game with incredibe graphics and very realistic physics. Check it out if you’re looking for a good iPhone 4 game!
Canon scan problems with OS X 10.6.4?
I’ve been fiddling around with a new Canon MP550 multifunction printer for a few hours and printing works perfectly but it refuses to scan anything. I’ve updated all software and drivers to the latest versions but I still just get the message ‘Cannot communicate with scanner. Cable may be disconnected or scanner may be turned off. Check status. Scanner driver will be closed. 2.1.0.’ – anyone experiencing the same problem?
