So you thought that a 1080p display and movies on nice high resolution blu-ray discs would be the final solution? Think again. There is a bunch of these big screens with ultra high resolution coming out in the next couple of years, like the 56″ from Sapphire featuring a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels (four times the resolution of a 1080p display).

Jay, yes it’s double the resolution but four times the amount of pixels compared to 1920×1080…
