A note on the iPad VGA adapter

iPad VGA Adapter

When I bought the ‘iPad dock connector to VGA Adapter’ I thought that any external screen would behave just like the iPad screen and that’s not the case. You can’t even browse photos properly with the adapter. It works just fine with Keynote, YouTube and Photo slideshows, but I must say that I’m a bit disappointed as I thought that I might be able to hook up the iPad and fire up Safari and demo a site. I couldn’t even get videos from iTunes to work properly as I just got an annoying message letting me know that “The connected dispay is not authorized to play proteced movies“.

That is mighty disappointing. I ordered it when I got my iPad but have not had a chance to use it. That sucks.
