Touch Hockey from FS5 was one of the first games I installed for the iPhone and I haven’t used it more than a couple of times but it’s still a quite OK game. Today I bought the $2.99 game Arcade Hockey from Brainjuice. It’s basically the same game in another costume. Here’s a mini review.
Arcade Hockey is an online adaption of the 70′s arcade classic Air Hockey. The graphics look nice, and there’s nothing to complain about regarding the sound either – but after I played the game for a while I must admit that I was a bit disappointed. It’s almost the exact thing as the free ‘Touch Hockey’ I already had installed on my phone so there’s really no point in getting this $2.99 verion.
Final verdict: Arcade Hockey is an OK game, that really doesn’t justify upgrading from any of the free versions already available (Air Hockey Free, FingerPuk, Big Bang Air Hockey, Touch Hockey).
