MacBook Air SSD price cut

MacBook Air price cut

It looks like Apple has slashed the price of the MacBook Air with a solid state disk with $500. The screenshots above are from today and a month ago. $2600 is still a lot of money but a bit more decent. And just to let you know - the same freakin machine will cost you $4676 if you buy it from Sweden…that’s correct $2000 more than the US price.

iPhone running appstore

Appstore is the new market place for getting applications for your iPhone 3G. The majority of the applications are supposed to be free but there will also be commercial products like games. A typical game will probably be around $9.99.

Secure iPhone erase

Secure iPhone erase

Apparently it is very easy to check out old emails, contacts, photos and other personal info on the current iPhone model - even if the phone has been reset and erased. The next software version, 2.0, will take about an hour to reset but will delete all data for real by writing random data all over.

No more dock battle

JVC NX-PN7

If you are used to battle over the docking station to get some juice into your ipod this can be a solution for you. Personally I think it’s overkill but I guess there is a need for a device like this somewhere in the world, haha. It aint too pricey - $150 and it will be yours to take home.

iPhone 3G - July 11

iPhone 3G - white

I must admit that I am a bit disappointed that there wasn’t anything more than the iPhone 3G on show tonight - but the new phone looks really great so I can live with that. The new price level set at $199 ($299 for the 16GB) is extremely aggressive and there is no doubt that Apple is aiming for world domination with their iPhone. Full press release and images after the jump.
