Nokia admits N97 lens problem
Today Nokia admitted that there are ‘some’ problems Nokia N97 lens. The problem is that the lens cover is fitted too close to the lens which actually makes it damage the lens instead of protecting it. It’s interesting that it took so long for Nokia to admit this since there are thousands of sites and posts about this well known problem.

iPhone 3G camera vs 3GS camera
As you might know the iPhone 3GS comes with an updated camera, and just to show you a quick glimpse of how big the difference actually is I put together a small comparison with two photos.
Nikon D5000 – review
Nikon D5000 is the answer to Canon’s new EOS 500D, and they have been running a tight race the last couple of years. Personally I have been using the Canon cameras since day one, but that is mainly because all of my lenses fit the Canon body. The D5000 sure looks like a really nice camera and the review from the Photographyblog rates it as ‘highly recommended‘.

Olympus E-450 – review
Photographyblog.com have looked into the tiny new 10 megapixel DSLR from Olympus, the E-450. The main benefit with the camera is it’s size but it can’t compete with the Canon EOS 500D when you compare image quality and resolution.
Excerpt from the conclusion:
The Olympus E-450 is a very compact, lightweight yet fairly robust feeling little DSLR that comes with a lot of features for an entry-level camera. Not only does it offer manual exposure and focusing modes for the advanced user; it also has features like highlight-, shadow- and midtone-based spot metering, user-configurable mirror lock-up (Anti-Shock), wireless TTL flash control, Shadow Adjustment Technology and contrast-detect auto-focus in Live View.

Canon IXUS 95 IS – review
The Photography Blog is one of the best sources for good reviews of digital cameras. Today they published a thorough review of the brand new Canon IXUS 95 IS. It’s a small point-and-shoot camera with a resolution of 10 megapixels and 3x optical zoom. They put a ‘Recommended’ stamp on the camera and here’s an excerpt of their verdict:
Like its predecessor the Canon Digital IXUS 95 IS can best be summed up as an undemanding snapper for the unpretentious photographer. Again the sturdiness of its build quality is very impressive, as is speed of operation, design, and overall ease of use.
