Amazon hosted a big press conference today where they showed the brand new full color Kindle tablet called ‘Kindle Fire’. It looks pretty interesting even though it’s not as technically advanced as for instance an iPad 2. And the best thing with the Kindle Fire is that it’s very cheap. This is a pretty cool project built using a ‘broken’ MacBook Air, the new Magic Trackpad and a keyboard. It’s basically a computer inside the keyboad, just like the old C64, Spectrum or Amiga. Neat project!

Here’s an interesting video featuring the four latest iPhone models (2G/3G/3GS/4) running a few different apps and tasks. The iPhone 4 is of course the fastest model and the difference in some of the tests compared to the iPhone 3G/2G is very big! (8.5 vs 25.7 seconds to load the Plants vs Zombies game).

I decided to get a new pair of headphones for my new iPhone and went for Jays new a-Jays. They come in three different versions and I went for the ‘Three’ package to get the travel case, stereo splitter and the airline adapter. A review will come in the next few days but since the packaging is quite cool I’ll share a few unboxing shots.

Yes, this is a week old, but since I’ve been on vacation I’m just catching up a bit on the news. One of the coolest things that has been launched during the week got to be the the magic trackpad. It’s a small device that is placed next to your keyboard and will let you use multi-touch gestures on your desktop as well. It’s only $69 and you can buy one in your local Apple store or online.

BMW is taking the iPod integration to the next level by integrating the new ‘iPod out’ in upcoming BMW models. As you can see in the video it’s a quite nice integration!

As you know the iPhone 4 is using the smaller ‘micro sim’ card and at least in Sweden it’s currently hard to get hold of these as iPhone (and iPad) are some of the first units that only can be used with the micro sim. But there’s a solution to that. By using a micro sim cutter you can convert your sim to a micro sim in just a few seconds. You can get the micro sim cutter for $25.
