Dell 2209WA – mini review

Dell 2209WA - rotatable screen

I have been looking for a nice rotatable screen a while, and I finally went for a Dell 2209WA. It’s a 22 inch screen featuring a resolution of 1680×1050 that is supposed to deliver excellent image quality along with the feature that I really was looking for – the ability to rotate the screen 90 degrees. It also helped that you wouldn’t need to run a credit report to see if you could afford such a cool monitor as it very affordable. Here’s my mini review of the Dell 2209WA.

eBay Dealhunter Challenge update

eBay Dealhunter Challenge

As I told you in the last post Fosfor was part of the eBay Dealhunter Challenge, so I just wanted to share what I’ll send in to the judges. It was quite a challenge to find something cool that the seller also could ship to Europe (most of the sellers only shipped to US and Canada), and the shipping cost was also, in most cases, higher than the price of the actual product. But anyway I decided to go for something vintage and finally I found this really cool 20 year old vinyl player (Technics SL-BD22), that still is brand new and in it’s original box. And my other deal was something that could be used with the turntable – a bunch of rare vinyls (20 different Johnny Cash LP’s and EP’s). More info and images inside.

Spotify for iPhone

Spotify for iPhone

The Swedish music application Spotify hasn’t been out for more than 20 hours and it’s already on top of the ‘free’ chart in App store. I must say that the application works really good. It’s incredibly fast and you can sync your playlists between the desk application and your iPhone in a few seconds. You can even choose tracks to be available offline so that it works in flight mode as well The only problem I currently see is that you have to jailbreak your phone to be able to run Spotify in the background – and of course, you have to buy a premium Spotify account to be able to use it.
