Rush - action camera

Rush - action camera

The Rush is an exciting project by the designer Martin Ruegg. At the moment it is just a concept but the idea is to control the camera by a small finger ring remote, and record all the data on a flash memory inside the camera. Nice one.

Cobra phone replica

Cobra phone replica

I was really surprised when I saw that Firebox had a bunch of fresh Cobra phone remakes in stock. The Cobra, or Scandiphone, is a classic Swedish retro phone from the 1950s that still is very popular over here. The ones you can find over at Firebox looks exactly like the original one. Cool.

Standalone Blu-ray drops

Standalone blu-ray sales from January to March

If you look at the sales figures showing how many standalone blu-ray players that have been sold the last couple of months, you can see that the sales figures have dropped almost 40% between January and March - and that is quite a surprise since at least I expected to see a dramatic increase when the format war ended. It will be really interesting to see how long it will take until standalone blu-ray players reach the price level of around $100…
