The current GPS system is based on quite old technology and even if it’s good enough in some situations, it really isn’t really _that_ accurate. The GPS system is getting a huge upgrade and the current 24 satellites will be replaced one by one which in the end this will boost the GPS accuracy from the today’s 20 feet to someone’s location within an arm’s length.
