I have an ipod nano last gene. and i bought an itrip and when i put the dock on the ipod i cant charge the ipod :S, i dont know why, i can listen the musick on fm radio but i cant charge it … why ? does some body know?

Hi, I have exactly the same itrip and an iPod touch 2nd gen but mine doesn’t charge in my car. It plays perfectly over the FM as it used to with my 4th gen ipod but no charging as it used to.

Mikael, thanks for checking. Apparently you have to be careful what accessories ou buy. On applestore they show what iPods/iPhones that works.
Im still looking for an FM-transmitter for my 3G

Patrik, I bought myself an iPhone 3G during the weekend, and I can now confirm that the iTrip does NOT charge the iPhone = your concern was a very good one to have.

I bought one of these to use on a sailing charter and it was great. Everyone brought their iPods and we could easily play music all day long as we were sailing. (Of course, there is little interference in the Carribbean.)
