Adding more RAM in your MacBook is very easy, and as I did it with my MacBook tonight I took a couple of snaps to share with you. In my case I went from 2GB of RAM to 4GB. Come inside for a quick guide.
So this is the staring point, a 2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo MacBook with 2GB of RAM.

Make sure you have a really good screwdriver before you start. And the first step is making sure that your MacBook is completely turned off and that all cables are unplugged. Then turn your MacBook over and remove the 8 screws. The screws are different lenghts so remember which one goes where.

Remove the aluminium bottom case and touch a metal surface inside to discharge any static electricity from your body. You will see the small ejection levelers on the side of the memory modules. Push them and the memory modules will pop up.

Remove the old memory modules and put in the new ones. Do not touch the gold connectors.

Press down on the memory module until they are in place. Put on the bottom case and tighten the eight screws. Tada, your done!

Boot it up and you’ll now have more RAM in your sweet machine.
