‘I got control’ is a new, clever iPhone device that can turn your phone (or iPod touch / iPad) into a IR remote. The attachement measures 50mm (L) x 29.6mm (W) x 10.4mm (H) and it weighs 14 grams (half an ounce). The device has a price tag of $69.95, so it’s a bit pricey but it can be useful if you want to use your phone to take full control of your media equipment. You need to get the application from the App store as well. I guess you can have quite some fun with it too, just take it to your local sports bar and start switching the channels…

I just received the new iPod touch 4th generation, it’s so cool. I plugged my i-got-control into it and within minutes I had control of all my electronics. Made me fell like the captain of the enterprise and I don’t even have to say “make it so number one”. I love this gadget.
