The quality is amazing, especially when you consider this is a phone for cryin’ out loud! It is pretty shaky alright, and of course the camera in the phone has no stabilization. I have seen some other video from the new phone elsewhere that looks more stable. There is a case designed to make video easier to shoot with a 3gs, and I’m sure they’ll come out with one for the new iPhone.
Totally agree with you Joe – really impressive! White balance is usually quite a big problem when shooting clear skies and sunlight, but it looks really good with the iPhone 4.
