Go check out the free software ‘Flipboard’ that got released today. It’s an awesome app that will present your social network(s) in a very, fresh way! You can also interact with all the content, and add different channels to your personalized Flipboard experience. Highly recommended!
I just got a press kit from Filemaker letting us know that the ‘Filemaker Go’ for iPad ($39.99) and iPhone ($19.99) just went live in the app store. I’m not a filemaker user myself so I won’t do a review of the app but I’ll maybe post a few review links later on. Video and more info inside.
None of my friends who owns an iPhone 4 have any reception problems but if you suffer from the death grip and don’t want to put on an ugly bumper on your stylish phone you could get one of these kind of cool vinyl stickers from this Etsy shop. The shop looks a bit fake though so you might not be able to order these for real.
I just got this message from the PR department at Apple that the iPad will be available in 9 more countries this Friday (July 23): Austria, Belgium, Hong Kong, Ireland, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand and Singapore. More info inside.
This is quite an amusing, old clip. It’s an Apple keynote from 1984 where Steve Jobs introduced the first Apple Macintosh in front of an audience – listen to them, crazy!
I just found this nice Etsy shop selling really cool iPhone / iPod cases. It’s the kind of protective cases where you slide your iPhone inside the case so you can’t use it while it’s inside. Still some quite cool designs. A few more photos inside.
Yes, we know all know that Steve Jobs always(?) wears a black long-sleeved turtleneck, Levi’s 501 blue jeans, and New Balance 991 sneakers, but it’s still interesting to see a this composition of him from the last 12 years. He looks very different if you compare the 1998 Steve with the 2010 Steve.
The iPad can be a great tool for playing around with your photos and even though the device don’t feature a camera it’s easy to transfer your photos to the iPad. Here’s a list of 12 awesome photo apps for the iPad. And if you’re missing one just add a comment.
We wrote a quick summary of the July 16 press conference yesterday and now you can see the whole conference over at Apple’s site. The video is 34 minutes long and available in 3 bandwidth flavors.
