The Japanese Linux company Lineo has announced a pretty cool technology that is supposed to fire up a Linux machine in less than 3 seconds. The system uses a clever compression technology and a fast flash memory to store the hibernated data.

Google turned 10 years old a couple of days ago and to celebrate this they brought back their oldest index available - and made it searchable. Pretty cool, check it out. A search for ‘blog’ will give you 76 400 hits, today the same search gives you 3,450,000,000 hits.
