Secure iPhone erase


Apparently it is very easy to check out old emails, contacts, photos and other personal info on the current iPhone model – even if the phone has been reset and erased. The next software version, 2.0, will take about an hour to reset but will delete all data for real by writing random data all over.

    iPone doesn’t store its data on the SIM card. It’s all stored in nasty binary files hidden deep within the iChunes filesystem. Apple does NOT want you messing with your data
