<p>The current GPS system is based on quite old technology and even if it&#8217;s good enough in some situations, it really isn&#8217;t really _that_ accurate. The GPS system is getting a huge upgrade and the current 24 satellites will be replaced one by one which in the end this will boost the GPS accuracy from the today&#8217;s 20 feet to someone&#8217;s location within an arm&#8217;s length.
