Apple confirms the iOS alarm bug
According to this recent post over at Macworld, an Apple spokesperson Natalie Harrison confirmed that the bug officially exists “We’re aware of an issue related to non repeating alarms set for January 1 or 2,” she also said. “Customers can set recurring alarms for those dates and all alarms will work properly beginning January 3.
iOS 4.1 is live

Plug in your iPhone or iPod into your computer and you’ll get the new iOS 4.1 update. It was launched just recently and includes HD video upload, the new Game Center, TV show rentals, HDR photography, a faster iPhone 3G OS and a few bug fixes.
The iPhone 3G will be faster again with iOS 4.1
As you all know using an iPhone 3G running iOS 4.0 is painful and Steve Jobs promised that they have been doing a lot of tweaking to get the device faster in the upcoming 4.1 release – and as you can see in the video above it’s much faster.
OS fix for slow iPhone 3G coming up
According to this post over at Mac Rumors, Steve Jobs responded yesterday to a user complaining about slow performance when he updated his iPhone 3G to iOS 4:

iOS 4.0.2 security update
Today Apple released the iOS 4.0.2 update which basically only tightens the security hole that recently was revealed. The iPad also got a 3.2.2 update which takes care of the same malicious PDF file security hole.
iPad OS 3.2.1 is out

Oh, it’s update frenzy tonight. Apparently 3.2.1 for iPad has just been released as well. Here’s what you get with the update:
* Improved Wi-Fi connectivity
* Fixed an issue that stops the copy/paste of single-page PDFs in Mail
* Addressed issues that causes video playback to freeze
* Improved reliability involving the video-out using the iPad Dock Connector to VGA Adapter
* Added Bing to Safari’s search options
So go get that one as well if you’re an iPad owner.
