Fashion set shot with iPhone 3GS
The photographer Lee Morris got tired of people letting him know that taking good photos was all about having the right camera. He arranged a fashion photo shoot and took all of the photos with his cell phone – an iphone 3Gs. Amazing results! Next time someone tells you that the iPhone camera sucks show them this article.
I posted a few of the images and asked people to critique them (never exposing that they were shot on my cell phone). I couldn’t help but laugh when a few of our readers claimed that these were “the best images I had ever taken.” Nobody ever claimed that they were too grainy, too soft, or lacked detail.

iPhone 3GS vs iPhone 4 speed test
Here’s an interesting video showing an iPhone 3GS going head on with an iPhone 4 to test the browsing speed. It’s actually quite a dramatic difference in rendering speed. Check it out.

Unboxing the iPhone 3GS
Today is the launch day for Apple’s new iPhone 3GS in Sweden. I was in line this morning to get hold of the new, updated version of the phone. Here’s some photos of the holy unboxing procedure.

Improve iPhone 3G S sound recordings
As you know, the new iPhone 3G S can record video with pretty good quality, but the sound quality ain’t that good. With this small external microphone you can improve the recorded sound quite dramatically (at least you can hear quite a big difference). The device is $14 and you can read more about it inside.
1 million iPhone 3G S sold
Apple sold over 1 million iPhone 3G S phones during the first 3 days. Pretty good and quite a dramatic difference if you compare it to how many phones Apple sold during Q3/Q4 2007 when they launched the first iPhone – 1,389,000 phones. Full press release inside.
Palm Pre vs iPhone 3G S
Here is a nice comparison chart that makes it easy to get a quick overview of the main differences between Palm Pre and the iPhone 3G S. My personal choice would be the iPhone 3G S, but the Palm Pre sure looks like a nice competitor.

iPhone 3Gs
iPhone 3Gs is the name of today’s new phone from Apple. Highlights are: twice as fast as the iPhone 3G, longer battery life, a better quality 3 megapixel autofocus camera, up to 32GB of storage, video capabilities. The iPhone 3G S will be available in the US on June 19 for a suggested retail price of $199 (US) for the 16GB model and $299 (US) for the new 32GB. More information and gallery inside.
