Spotify for iPhone
The Swedish music application Spotify hasn’t been out for more than 20 hours and it’s already on top of the ‘free’ chart in App store. I must say that the application works really good. It’s incredibly fast and you can sync your playlists between the desk application and your iPhone in a few seconds. You can even choose tracks to be available offline so that it works in flight mode as well The only problem I currently see is that you have to jailbreak your phone to be able to run Spotify in the background – and of course, you have to buy a premium Spotify account to be able to use it.

Since we probably never will see the Duke Nukem Forever hit the market (it has been in development between 1997 – 2009) as 3D Realms pulled the plug in May, you can at least amuse yourself with the iPhone port of the classic Duke Nukem 3D game. Mini review inside.

The Spotify iPhone app
Spotify is a groundbreaking music application that currently not is available in the US, but they plan to launch in the America within the next couple of months. Today they unveiled their upcoming iPhone app (if they get it launched, personally I think they will have some major problems with getting it through due to it’s direct competition with iTunes). You will need a Spotify premium account to get it going, currently €9.99 per month. A video of the app in action is available after the jump.
Apple’s app wall
Yesterday at the WWDC event Apple had arranged a huge wall of connected screens showing a grid of thousand different app icons, arranged in color. Looked pretty neat, above you can see a close-up of one of the screens. More images over at TechCrunch.

7 interesting iPhone camera apps
I use my iPhone heavily and one thing I really don’t like with it is the crappy quality of the camera – but I use it almost daily for practical reasons. Here’s a nice compilation of 7 interesting uses for the iPhone camera.

Google iPhone voice search today?
Google planned to launch their new voice search for iPhone already this Friday but it wasn’t possible due to Apple. According to an article over at TechCrunch the updated app will go live sometime today. I just checked the app store and it wasn’t there yet.

Google voice search video demo

Yesterday I told you that Google is about to launch a new voice search for iPhone and I just wanted to share a short video demonstration of the new service. Looks like a neat service. I especially like the motion detection that eliminates most of the button pushing. Video after the link.
