Unboxing the new iPod Touch
The last unboxing of the day will be the new 4th generation iPod Touch. The new iPod Touch is basically an iPhone 4 without all of the phone functionalities. It features the same ultra high resolution display, the same A4 processor, the HD video camera, FaceTime and so one. This got to be one of the best media players ever built, and it’s still quite affordable – $229 (US) for the 8GB model, $299 (US) for the 32GB model and $399 (US) for the 64GB. Check out the full unboxing gallery inside.
Unboxing the new iPod nano
The second unboxing of the day will be the new 6th generation iPod Nano. The new nano is a really impressive piece of hardware. It’s almost as small as the iPod shuffle and still features a 220 pixels per inch multi-touch screen, up to 16GB of storage, a built-in FM radio with live pause, Nike+ integration, a pedometer and up to 24 hours of music playback. It’s available in 7 colors and it’s $149 (US) for the 8GB model and $179 (US) for the bigger 16GB. Check out the full unboxing gallery inside.
Wait buying that iPod
Next Wednesday Apple will have a media event in San Francisco. Last year they introduced iTunes 9, the new iPod nano built-in camera, a new iPod touch lineup and a cheaper iPod shuffle. I guess we most probably will see the new iTunes version 10, and some updated music players. I’m guessing that we will get an iPod Touch featuring a front camera which will enable face time calls but we’ll see on next Wednesday at 10:00 AM PST.
iOS in BMW
BMW is taking the iPod integration to the next level by integrating the new ‘iPod out’ in upcoming BMW models. As you can see in the video it’s a quite nice integration!
Scosche earphones for the new iPod Shuffle
Yesterday we wrote about the new iPod Shuffle and one of the first comments to that post was that it was too bad that the remote was so tightly integrated into the earphones as the standard earphones that comes with the player is considered quite bad generally. But, as always when Apple launches something, it doesn’t take long until there’s a wide range of accessories available and first out is new earphones, including the new Shuffle remote, from Scosche. You can also use the adapter and plug in any other earphone. More info and photos inside.
Bacon iPhone case
This got to be one of the most tacky iPhone/iPod cases yet but it’s a bit funny as well so I wanted to share it with you guys. It’s made out of some kind of felt but looks pretty authentic, right?

Most wanted Apple products
Here’s a nice collection of user generated Apple product mockups. Some of them are quite interesting, like the Mac tablet featured above. An additional 46 design can be found here:

The iPod touch is tough!
This iPod touch got ran over by a big pickup truck, and it’s not as shiny as when the owner unboxed it – but at least it works! Every single pixel on the screen is functional. Impressive.
Griffin iTrip Auto – quick review
I have been playing around with the Griffin iTrip Auto for a day or two and would like to share my first impressions of this neat little piece of hardware.
Cute iPod memory stick
This iPod memory stick one is of the cutest flash drives I have seen in a while. The drive comes in two sizes, 1GB ($40) and 2GB ($50) and it’s available now. Even the packaging looks cute:
