Shrink & burn 8GB DVD to a 4GB DVD

Fairmount

Yesterday I had to do a quick backup of one of my DVDs and it turned out that it was a dual layer 8GB DVD so I had to shrink it to 4GB to be able to burn it. I solved the problem with the following steps:

1.) Installed ‘Fairmount’. A tool that basically will let you copy and DVD content to your hard drive, it also includes decryption of protected DVDs. You can get Fairmount here.

16 Twitter clients compared

Destroy Twitter

The guys over at Testfreaks have tried out 16 Twitter clients for the Mac OSX. My personal favorite is Destroy Twitter on the desktop and Tweetie in the phone – but I haven’t tried more than a few. It’s a nice roundup and there is no clear test winner, but I’m quite interested in giving Tweetie a shot for the desktop as well. Check out the comparison here:
