Spotify version 0.4.7 is just launched and with the new version you will get iOS4 multitasking and you can also use the headset remote to control playback. So if you have a Spotify Premium account and iOS4 – go get it.

The Spotify iPhone app

Spotify is a groundbreaking music application that currently not is available in the US, but they plan to launch in the America within the next couple of months. Today they unveiled their upcoming iPhone app (if they get it launched, personally I think they will have some major problems with getting it through due to it’s direct competition with iTunes). You will need a Spotify premium account to get it going, currently €9.99 per month. A video of the app in action is available after the jump.

Spotify demo on Android phone.

Here is a short clip demonstrating the Spotify client running on a Google Android phone. Looks very promising. Hopefully Apple will accept the client in the app store as well but that is very uncertain due to the direct competition/conflict with iTunes. My guess is that Apple probably will buy the whole company…
