Here is a new Top 10 list containing the coolest lamp and light gadgets out there at the moment. Above you can see the Lightblade Umbrella that got the 4th place on the list. A lot more after the jump.

10.) LED Shower light

The first gadget on the list is for those of you who want a citchy bathroom. The light is powered by a small water turbine so you will never have to worry about changing the batteries. If the water is cold (below 32 degrees C or 89 degress F) the LED shower light turns the color of the water into blue, but as soon as it gets warmer it changes to red. 9.) Night Reader Hardcover

If you are a night reader and don’t want to disturb your surroundings with heavy lights, you can use this combined cover and little lamp featured at coolest-gadgets. The Night Reader Hardcover sells for $80 and has a LED lamp that lasts up to 100 000 hours. Pretty sweat.

8.) USB Plasma ball

Here’s a neat USB light gadget that looks like no other USB light source you have seen before. It’s completely pointless but looks really cool plus it’s quite affordable at $15. Check it out at I want one of those.

7.) Mood Light Shelf

This is more of an interior design item than a gadget but since there is electricity (hehe, that would justify having all lamps on the list ) involved in this shelf I will let it be a part of this list. It can be arranged in thousands different ways and the color of the lightning is also customizable. The price is a bit on the expensive side, US$229.00, but it’s a really cool item.

6.) Graffiti Light in a Can

Here is a really nice combination of a UV light sensitive sheet, and a spray can that consists of a fluid that makes it possible to ‘paint’ on the sheet. Your graffiti will fade out within an hour and then you are ready to give it another go. Great gadget for $50.

5.) Lightsaber USB lamp

Here is a nice USB gadget for all Star Wars fans out there. It’s a USB powererd lightsaber that lights up when you hit a nice bronze button on the handle. Together with your iPhone and the light sabre app you can have lots of fun. Your for around $30.

4.) Lightblade Umbrella

If you want to be geeky on the streets you can go ahead and buy one of these lightblade umbrellas. When you flick the button the shaft starts glowing intensively. You will have to provide your own sound effects though

3.) USB DJ Plasma Tube

It’s hard to justify these cool tubes with words, so check out this short video of the tubes in action to get an idea of what they are all about. Really cool if you play some adaptive music in a dark room. They are pretty cheap, $13 a piece, but you should get at least a couple of them to get the desired effect.

A nice small USB speaker that features some nice blue, mood lighting. If it would have featured some kind of adaptive lighting it would definitely have made it on to the list. It’s pretty cheap as well, only $22.
