Twitter for iPad
Until today I’ve been using the app called ‘Osfoora HD‘ for my iPad twittering needs but that changed today when Twitter launched their official app. It’s free and it’s a really, really good app! This is a must have if you’re a twitterer and own an iPad.

The last couple of years there has been many rumours regarding an operative system from Google, and today they announced the whole thing. The core of Google Chrome OS is a Linux kernel and all applications shall be web based in some way. They haven’t released any vidoes or dumps yet, but expect more information about this within the next couple of months. It will be out sometime in 2010.

Twitter & Google Street view mashup
One of the biggest wins with having an Open API to your service is the steady stream of nice new services. Stweet is a nice mash between Twitter and Google Street View. Check it out if you’re a twitter user, it’s quite fun.

16 Twitter clients compared
The guys over at Testfreaks have tried out 16 Twitter clients for the Mac OSX. My personal favorite is Destroy Twitter on the desktop and Tweetie in the phone – but I haven’t tried more than a few. It’s a nice roundup and there is no clear test winner, but I’m quite interested in giving Tweetie a shot for the desktop as well. Check out the comparison here:

Nerds on a plane

One of the twitter flows I follow and read regularlys is the one from Kevin Rose, founder of digg.com and other cool things. Earlier today he tweeted about that it was great that the flight between NYC and San Francisco had a WiFi connection. And a few minutes later he tweeted again letting all his followers know that he had set up a live uStream. I clicked in and a few minutes later Virgin Atlantic tweeted about it as well. And in a few minutes close to 1000 people was watching Kevin Rose, sitting in his airplane chair listening to music and chatting. Kudos to Virgin Atlantic for their great use of social media – impressive.
