The Magic Trackpad

The Magic Trackpad

Yes, this is a week old, but since I’ve been on vacation I’m just catching up a bit on the news. One of the coolest things that has been launched during the week got to be the the magic trackpad. It’s a small device that is placed next to your keyboard and will let you use multi-touch gestures on your desktop as well. It’s only $69 and you can buy one in your local Apple store or online.

Love the trackpad. You should note that not all of the gestures in Tiger work with all Macs. Check the Tiger documentation for models.

Really awesome product. I replaced my wired Mighty Mouse for this when the scroll ball was beyond repair without ripping it open. Love that it’s bigger than the average trackpad and it’s really sturdy.

I purchased the Magic Trackpad in preparation for Lion in order to take advantage of the new gestures capability. It’s well built, matches the design of the keyboard, and works well. If you have Lion, you might considering buying this.

The new Magic Trackpad is the first Multi-Touch trackpad designed to work with your Mac desktop computer. It uses the same Multi-Touch technology you love on the MacBook Pro.

it supports a full set of gestures, giving you a whole new way to control and interact with what’s on your screen. Swiping through pages online feels just like flipping through pages in a book or magazine.

Magic Trackpad connects to your Mac via Bluetooth wireless technology. Use it in place of a mouse or in conjunction with one.
