Weak surface on Nokia phones

Weak surface on Nokia phones

A friend at the office got this Nokia N95 about the same time as I got my iPhone (last summer) – and it’s quite interesting to compare the two phones after one year of wear and tear. The Nokia N95 has quite a damaged surface and the iPhone is in pretty good shape! Full gallery inside.

Sure, I might have been more careful with my iPhone than my friend with his Nokia N95, but the difference shouldn’t be this big! The N95 look like it’s ready for the trash bin…

      Hmm, my Nokia is 2 years old and doesn’t look nearly as bad as that sucker…

      @Mike

      Yeah right! I have my Nokia phone but it doesn’t look bad like this one. Its always depend on the users how they use their phones.

    3. WTH says:

      The dude shouldn’t be allowed to use a phone if he treats it like toilettpaper.

      The hone looks at least 3 years old. I can understand scratches but buttons falling of etc. is just proof of a dumbass who don’t have a clue how to take care of a phone.

    4. blasphemy says:

      1 year depends entirely on the person using the phone. Generally you could think apple-users like the way their things look, so they take more care of their devices. GENERALLY. Nokia devices are just everyday phones and some people just treat them like dirt. That seems to have been in jeans pocket for the year, including washing the jeans…

      Those two devices tell more about their users, than about the device quality. If we were comparing cars, houses or underwear, we would probably see the same trend..

    6. Tiny says:

      Someone who was serious about comparing the state of the phones would’ve taken the time to take photos of both phones from the same angles – not just the rear of the iPhone and the front of the N95. Also, like the previous posters already said, this tells more about the user than the actual build quality.

      Sorry Mikael – you just come across as an Apple fanboy with this.
